Day 1 Airport/Colombo
On arrival at the Colombo International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, introduce your guide lecture and begin proceed to Colombo the commercial capital in Sri Lanka. You will drive through the commercial area of Fort, so named because both the Portuguese and Dutch had a fort at this point. Drive past Pettah, a noisy Oriental bazaar with a mix of humanity, ancient vehicles, bargains, mosques and temples. You will visit a Hindu and Buddhist Temple and the Jumi Ul Alfar Jumma Mosque. You will continue with the tour through the Wolfendhal Dutch Church, Hulftsdorp Law Courts, through the residential area of Cinnamon Gardens, and on to the Independence Square, Bandaranayake Memorial International Conference Hall.

There is plenty of nightlife in Colombo. Many casinos, or otherwise also called clubs here, scream for your attention with flashing neon lights. The clubs offer gamblers roulette, baccarat, poker, blackjack, and other games to try their luck as well as complimentary food and drinks, and sometimes music with live bands playing. Entrance is only for those over 18 years and some clubs offer entrance only for foreigners. Be dressed in smart casual for instant admission.
Furthermore, from chic relaxing cocktail lounges, and modern international restaurants – to lively pubs, tapas bars and sports bars boasting snooker tables and large-screen TV’s, there’s something for everyone. Day 2 Colombo/Udawalawe
We will departure from the hotel early morning and having breakfast on the way. We can visit gem mining pits and Gem museum en-route Ratnapura.
The gem-mining centre of Sri Lanka is also a major crossroad between southern plains and the hill country to the east. Many of the prominent gem dealers in Sri Lanka operate from this town. Ratnapura is literally the City of Gems and it has been known as such throughout the history of the island and has been referred to in ancient texts here and elsewhere. Gem mining is widespread throughout the region and you will see pits dug in low lying areas like valley floors, riverbeds, paddy fields and other very damp places. The Ratnapura Gem Museum holds a breathtaking display of samples of precious and semi-precious stones that include Sapphires, Rubies, and Amethysts.
Then we reached to Udawalawe National park. Widely known for its population of Sri Lankan Elephants (which are a recognized subspecies of their Asian counterparts) the Udawalawe National Park is the only place where an elephant sighting is guaranteed on every single safari drive. There are around 600 to 700 Sri Lankan Elephants in this wildlife park and it is not unusual to see large herds gather to drink water and feed. The Udawalawe National Park can be visited throughout the year. However the migrant birds can only be seen from November to March. The dry season is the best for elephants as they come out in large herds to drink at the waterholes.
Next we can visit Udawalawe elephant transfer home. This home, helping to care for the area’s injured elephants. The main objective of this facility is rehabilitation of orphaned baby elephants to ultimately release them back into their natural habitat. Although you can’t get up close and personal with the elephants, a visit at feeding time is still a lot of fun. 2.00PM is ‘feeding time’ daily.

Day 3 Udawalawe/Arugambay
Had Breakfast at hotel and we departure to Arugambay. We can visit Lahugala National park en-route.
Lahugala Kitulana National Park is one of the smallest national parks in Sri Lanka. Despite its land area, the park is an important habitat for Sri Lankan Elephant and endemic birds of Sri Lanka. The national park contains the reservoirs of Lahugala, Kitulana and Sengamuwa and ultimately empties to Heda Oya River.
Then we can reach to Arugambay. Windsurfing is a popular water sport among the foreign tourists who visit the palm fringed pristine beaches of Sri Lanka. The most popular surfing beaches of the island are Hikkaduwa of South Western coastal belt and Arugambay (International surfing competition venue) of Eastern coastal belt of Sri Lanka. The beautiful bay with its gorgeous sweeping sand with amazing swells and long consistent breaks is one of the top ten surfing destinations in the world.
The spectacular view, the sugar sandy beaches and the surroundings tropical forests with choice wild life gives it an ambience that falls a little short of being extravagantly exotic.
This makes it a perfect place to unwind and allow the sea to seduce you in to snorkeling, swimming and surfing with a sigh of satisfaction that you planned your holiday well.

Day 4 Arugambay
After the breakfast from hotel and we proceed to visit Kumana National Park.
Kumana National Park provides excellent feeding and resting habitats for a large number of threatened wetland species, including three turtle species such as the Green Turtle (Chelonia mydas), Loggerhead Turtle (Caretta caretta), and the Olive Ridley Turtle (Lepidochelys olivaceae). Among other threatened species of reptiles are the globally vulnerable Mugger Crocodile (Crocodylus palustris).The most sighted reptiles at Kumana National Park are Mugger Crocodile, the Indian Flap-shelled Turtle, and the Indian Black Turtle.
Birdlife at Kumana National Park
Sri Lanka records more than 430 bird species comprising endemic, resident and migrant birds. Of these, the bird watchers are able to watch over 200 species easily. The wide variety of birds found in the numerous wildlife parks of Sri Lanka makes the tropical island a prime bird watching destination in the world. The Kumana National Park is the most important and most popular bird sanctuary in Sri Lanka. Kumana birdlife supported by Some 20 lagoons and tank is an ornithologist’s paradise. During April–July, tens of thousands of birds migrate to the Kumana swamp area annually nearly 255 species of birds have been recorded in the National Park. Regular sightings of birds include pelicans, painted storks, spoonbills, white ibis, herons, egrets and hundreds of little cormorants. The very rare black-necked stork has also been spotted at the swamp.

Day 5 Arugambay/Ella
After breakfast at hotel and proceed to Ella.
Ella Gap; where the southern mountain range falls away in a scenic drop of 3,000 feet to the southern plains. Rugged peaks wrapped in the morning mist, the soothing sounds of streams and waterfalls, endless views of rolling hills covered with tea gardens and the cool, mild climate all together is what makes Ella a memorable experience. Away from the busy tourist towns, yet never too far from them, it’s definitely a place for those who just want to soak in the views, relax and explore the charms of the hill country of Sri Lanka.
Ella is one of the most scenic venues for a vacation of adventure. Ella offers a choice of sports and activities for the adventurous. From Paragliding, canoeing, hiking and trekking to bird watching, the list is very long. Some of the other activities are camping, rock climbing, fishing, mountain biking, caving, train tours and wildlife safaris. Day 6 Ella
After breakfast we continue the scenic tour surrounding Ella.

Punchi Sri Pada (Little Adam’s Peak) has become an attraction to local and foreign tourist. A large number of people visit the area to admire its scenic beauty. Small Sripada is located about 2 km from the Ella junction. From this location Kataragama and the Hambantota beach which are hundreds of kilometers away can also be seen. The Namunukula, Poonagala and Narangala mountain ranges also located on near this place. The mount extent about 10 acres some of the Small Sripada is full of biodiversity. It is 1141 m in height. Little Adam’s Peak attracts many travelers who come to Sri Lanka. Gradually with an easy hike up to the mountain of Little Adams Peak you can consummation a worth panoramic view. You have to walk through lush green tea plantations, waterfalls and paddy fields while enjoying the sceneries.)

Day 7 Ella/ Kandy
We proceed to Kandy, after breakfast from hotel. We can visit Dabhana (Forest dwellers) en-route.
The indigenous people is called ‘vadda’ that group of people are living rock cave in the jungle. Dabana is located in close to city of Mahiyanganaya (Holy Buddha’s shrine )Aborigines of sri lanka commonly used bow and arrow for hunting their foods, they hunt only what they need to survive they don’t kill young or pregnant animals. Also they add fruit and honey for their flesh meals. Some of that indigenous people are cultivating ,it is called Chena cultivation as many kind of serial foods, and some kind of vegetables ,at the Dabana is available many kinds of their products as bee honey, handmade bamboo products etc..
Then we reached to Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lanka is a major tourist destination. The city established in the 15th century was the last royal capital where 2500 years of royal rule ended. (465 meters above mean sea level). Famous for the Temple of the Tooth and many other temples the city could be called the cultural capital of the island. Kandy Perahera, the pageant of the temple of tooth where Buddha’s tooth is kept is held either in July or August each year to parade the golden caskets is a must see itinerary if one is visiting Sri Lanka during these months. The final night procession is the most spectacular event of the country. More than 50 elephants parade the city accompanied by the drummers, dancers and chieftains.

Day 8 Kandy
After breakfast we will start our journey continuing around Kandy. Today we visit Udawattakele National park and Botanical garden.
Udawattakele Sanctuary or the Royal Forest Park of Kandy is situated on the hillside behind the Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Tooth Relic. This forest extents about 257 acres and is considered to be a vital Bio reserve for the much populated Kandy City. The forest is rich with vegetation consisting with canopy, sub canopy and an underground layer. The dense plant life restricts sunlight reaching the ground soil surface. The underground layer mostly consists of the seedlings of the canopy layer species and creepers that reach to the top of canopy layer trees.
It is a marvelous creation of the nature, Deer’s, Hares, Squirrels and various types of beautiful birds who contribute to the natural beauty and bio-diversity of the site.
(Optional: Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens, the finest of its kind in Asia, the largest of the botanical gardens of Sri Lanka, couldn't be better located. In the Mediterranean climate of Kandy, the gateway to the Central Highlands, the Gardens, at an elevation of 500 meters above sea-level, were tightly bounded on three sides by a loop of River Mahaweli (Great sandy river), the largest river of Sri Lanka. The great lawns & variety of huge trees in tropical climate surrounded by the islands' longest river Mahaweli will surprise your Sri Lanka tour at the Peradeniya Royal Botanical garden. The best known attraction of the Gardens is the famous Orchid House, which house for more than 300 varieties of exquisite orchids from the rare indigenous Foxtail and Vesak orchids, to many natural and hybrid species which have made this one of the best known orchid centers of the world .A spice garden gives you a firsthand introduction to the trees, plants and creepers that produce the special spices of Sri Lanka. The Herbarium grows many of the plants used for the traditional Ayurvedic treatments. )

Day 9 Kandy/Airport
After the breakfast we will proceed to Airport for your Departure. According to the available time to Flight, We can visit Pinnawala elephant orphanage en-route.
This orphanage for baby elephants was established to feed, nurse & house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. The feeding and bathing times are the highlights of the day.
