Day 1 Airport/Pinnawala/Kandy
On arrival at the Colombo International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, introduce your guide lecture and proceed to Kandy. Visit the pinnawala elephant orphanage en-route. This orphanage for baby elephants was established to feed, nurse & house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. The feeding and bathing times are the highlights of the day.
Proceed to Kandy, the hill capital of Sri Lanka and Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings. Kandy is situated in a valley 1600 feet above mean sea level, and is one of the most beautiful cities in Sri Lanka. The temple of the tooth relic, one of the most venerated Buddhist temples in the world is located here.
Evening enjoy a typical Sri Lankan Cultural show of drumming dancing music and walking on fire.

Day 2 Kandy/Nuwara eliya
After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya (82 km, approx. 2 1/2 hour drive). Set in the heart of Tea Country, situated 1890 meters above mean sea level, this beautiful town of Nuwara Eliya is where the British succeeded in creating an English countryside with homes in styles from Georgian to Queen Anne with well kept lawns with hedges. En route you will see some magnificent waterfalls. On arrival in the city, commence a sightseeing tour. Visit the Nuwara Eliya Town, Market place, Golf Course, (one of the finest 18 holes Golf Course in Asia), the Hill club, and drive around this Hill station viewing Lake Gregory. Visit the Hakgala Botanical Garden in the evening.

Day 3 Nuwara eliya/Airport
After breakfast leave to the Airport for your departure. (Depend on your flight schedule visit kithulgala for white water rafting or Water safari at Muthurajawela marsh and lagoon)
The Muthurajawela Marshes are situated just south of Negombo and covers an area of approximately 6,000 hectares inclusive of the Negombo lagoon. The daily high tide brings in seawater from the ocean into the wetland. Continuous mixing of these two waters over thousands of years, has led to a brackish, integrated coastal ecosystem that is biologically diverse and teeming with life. A variety of mangroves and other types of flora including medicinal plants are found alongside numerous types of birds, butterflies and fish, some of which are endemic. Crocodiles, monitor lizards, and Sri Lanka’s largest snake, the Python, are also native.
Kithulgala is most popular site of White water rafting is located on the banks of Kelani River. There are seven rapids covering 3 major rapids and 4 minor rapids (Grade 2-3 rapids). Every rapid gives you great fun. Epic excitement..!
The distance covered is around 5 KMs and duration of White Water Rafting experience would be approximately 1 – 2 hrs (subject to Kelani River water speed). The river and its surrounding will make you feel enchanted, with a memorable Experience during your White Water Rafting Tour in Kithulagala.
The season for White water rafting at Kithulgala is the period of April to November. During this period southwest monsoon of Sri Lanka gently increase the water level of Kelani River.
